Welcome to Gary Karr's Live Concert in Fujisawa, Japan on November 24, 2019. This is Gary Karr's Final concert in his life as a doublebassist. We would like to share this valuable record with a lot of friends of his or ours. However, unfortunately, the microphone did not reflect the actual balance in the hall between the piano and the doublebass. Gary's sound at the concert was big and the piano seemed very soft by comparison. So our engineer tried to improve the balance later. Anyway, this video is of great importance especially for his fans or people who would like to 'sing' through an instrument. We thank Gary Karr and Harmon Lewis for their friendship and permitting us to put the video onto RUclips.
皆様、コントラバスの巨匠ゲイリー･カーの藤沢ライヴ（2019年11月24日　藤沢リラホール）にようこそ。ゲイリーの快諾を得て、当日の公演の模様をお届けします。実は、これが、ゲイリー･カーのコントラバス奏者として最後の演奏会でした。彼はそれを当日のお客様には敢えて伝えませんでしたが、一曲一曲を存分に味わいながら、お客様とのやりとりを楽しみながら演奏しました。ゲイリーもピアノのハーモンも万全の体調ではなかったものの、それでも笑顔を絶やさずたっぷりと楽器で歌い、8年ぶりの来日公演の締めくくりをしました。マイクのバランスの影響で、このRUclips上で聴ける音は、コンサート会場でのものとは違っています。ゲイリーの楽器が実際にはかなり鳴っていたのですが、録音ではピアノの方がかなり大きくなっていたため、バランスの調整はさせていただいていますのでご了承ください。
